Yep, Elections have Consequences. Wonder how many of them who stayed home are now paying 2-3x times for the same crappy gun that was gathering dust 6 months ago? IF they can find one, that is.
Both Romney and Obama are politicians, and they have a base of voters. Obama's base has never included gun owners. Like it or not, Romney's base needed them. If Romney were President, he'd be doing what he could to keep is base. In short, Romney needed the pro-gun vote. Obama did not.
Err, no worse than if Romney was in office? Is this a trick question or something?
ReplyDelete;-)
We'll see at 11:45 today when Obama unveils his unilateral punishment of gun owners.
DeleteI hear ya. But I did my part to try to depose Obama. I cast a ballot for the only other guy who stood a chance.
ReplyDelete'Twas a shame the only other guy was Romney, but I did it anyway.
DeleteGood question, isn't it... :-(
ReplyDeleteIsn't it!
DeleteI am more interested in what the heck we are gonna do now...

ReplyDeleteOh well, try and have a Merry Christmas!
Romney got asked about gun control in the debates. He bragged on the Massachusetts "Assault Weapons" ban that he signed. He threw my vote away.
