Not about Digging Up Your Guns Come the Zombie Apocalypse
The New York Times covers the ups and downs of Garden & Gun magazine. I've actually not read the magazine, but I guess the idea of a New Yorker publishing a magazine about the South makes sense... or not. Perhaps Garden & Gun would have a better time financially if they allowed advertising from the likes of the NRA. I don't know. Something about the whole thing seems fake.
Understatement of the Decade
'Climate models will need to be substantially revised.' Research at CERN has turned up something us bitter-clingers have known for some time: that big, hot and bright thing up in the sky we call the Sun has a substantial impact on climate. Who would have thought! I love the part about the scientists being told to down-play their findings.
