Three hours after the Verizon FIOS installer left, a Cox guy shows up (this is 8:30 at night) to "fix" the cable. And he has not read our trouble ticket history, so we tell him to go away.
As part of the FIOS deal, we opted for TV service. We hadn't had that for nearly six years, getting all our TV from antennae or iTunes. There's much more HD now than before, and it would appear that Discovery/TLC/History channels will follow anybody around with a camera.
So I've got six years of catching up. First to checkout is the Kardashian Star Trek thing people have been raving about. But I'll get back to hittin' up the blogs.
The story.
Nice to have you up and running again.
ReplyDeleteThanks
DeleteWelcome back! And yeah, TV pretty much sucks...
ReplyDeleteVerizon FiOS rocks.
ReplyDeleteWe ditched the phone part completely, as everyone has cell phones anyway.
NFO - Yes, there isn't a lot good on. But my wife will be the first to tell you, I can pretty much watch the stupidest crap and be content.
ReplyDeleteMSgt B - We had 5/15 speed with Cox and now we have 5/15 speed with FIOS. So same bandwidth, but FIOS just seems a lot snappier.
