Still no Internet service at the house. On the plus side, I've gotten more work done around the house this past week than in the previous FIVE years. Our basement has been upgraded from a filthy, embarrassing pig sty to a tacky eye sore. But my work area has been completely redone and relocated, including the future location of my ammo reloading station.
Having had our $100 Cuisinart coffee maker blown up in the storm, we doubled down and purchased a $200 Keurig brewing system. It's a tad bit excessive and wasteful, but I'm more than a tad bit not caring. And thanks to the basement cleaning, the stainless steel french press is back in service too (holy jeepers, talk about some strong coffee).
Things have been busier at work than usual, so no real time to do extracurricular Internet stuff there either. I hope all are good. Take care.
Then there IS a good side...LOL Hope you get service back soon...
ReplyDeleteHm. I may come to your house for coffee in the morning...
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding me my basement still looks like a disgusting sty.
ReplyDeleteBut I still have internets, so I'm content to leave it that way.
Hope my wife doesn't read this...
NFO, yup it is the silver lining in the storm cloud
ReplyDeletePH, anytime though be aware of the guard dog, which is a Mossberg 500 breed. She can be a little panicky of early morning knocks.
MSgt B, glad to be of service.
I'm with PH, the strong coffee is enticing.
