| A Lego giraffe |
I took a walk down to Potsdamer Platz to find some food that wasn't hotel expensive. This was sitting on the sidewalk to entice people into the Lego store, which wasn't nearly as impressive.
| Andy's Diner & Bar |
Across the street I spied this small place to eat. The name has a certain ring to it.

Seriously, why wouldn't I eat at this place. It has everything. So I had a Berliner draft beer and a club sandwich.
Nice place ya got there!
ReplyDeleteIf my wife wouldn't flip out, I think it would be pretty cool to have a Lego giraffe at home. It barely beats out some of the tacky stuff I've had over the years.
You'd have to store it outside. That thing is tall.
DeleteThat's pretty cool. Giraffe AND diner. I love giraffes. And beer.
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteI want pictures of Checkpoint Charlie.
ReplyDeleteMy dad would love to see what it looks like now.
If I get over that way, I'll take a picture. But it is a bit disappointing, as I was there about 4 years ago. Checkpoint Charlie now looks like a very busy intersection.
DeleteDad has an original photo from the bad old days. Thought it would be nice to get a modern one to hang next to it.
DeleteEnjoy your travels. Let's hit the range when you get back.
"Let's hit the range when you get back."
DeleteTwist my arm! :)
I think that's so cool! I wouldn't want it in my house, but still cool.
ReplyDeleteWell, really the only thing racy was the menu, and the food was good. Oh Oh! You mean the giraffe!
DeleteTake it easy A Girl. Heal up.
LOL, good idea, and yeah hotel food IS expensive!!!
ReplyDeleteI was pleasantly surprised to find out that breakfast was included with my room this time around. At 25 Euros, I wasn't about to pay for it.
