My little Kindergartner, E1, was talking about what to do for Mother's Day this morning as I was taking her to school. "Maybe when you pick me up today we can brainstorm about a present for Mom."
"Brainstorm?" What, are they playing buzzword bingo in Catholic school these days?
Without skipping a beat, she says, "Yes, it means to talk over ideas."
Part of me doesn't want her to ever grow up.
It'll be much more interesting when she's 13! :)
ReplyDeleteAgain, part of me doesn't want her to ever grow up.
DeleteSo cute and smart!!
ReplyDeleteDon't let eiafinfo scare you. I have a 14 year old and she is a joy...almost always...if she is not awaken before 7 or if no one takes her make up or, actually never mind:)
LOL! Though... not helping!!!

The fun truly starts when your little girl has three daughters of her own - and ya get to watch them run her and her hubby through the wringer!!! :) I think it's called "delayed gratification" - or, as Mrs. Bill calls it: "mother's revenge"!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy sir, enjoy each and every moment!
So my mother raised 4 boys. I only have one, but anytime I complain to her about something he's done, her response is always, "This is pay back."
DeleteThey get smarter every year, it seems. I can only imagine her defining "brainstorming" in a matter-of-fact tone, as that's how my little girl tells me things.
ReplyDeleteYeah, this one's gonna out smart me eventually... I can see it coming.
